HammarBear - Gardening 002 (24 March 2020)

After a bit more raking, and picking up the giant leaf pile in the back yard, I decided I needed a compost...so I dumped all the leaves back into the pile and started work on the bin.

I used 4 fence posts spaced in a 36 inch "square", though it ended up being a bit...squashed. Oh well...it'll do the job. I wrapped 2 levels of 24" chicken wire, though due to the not-quite-square shape, I ran out of chicken wire...so I solved that by making one side lower for ease of turning, loading and unloading.

After the bin was finished...I wheelbarrowed all the waste I raked up yesterday and several loads of rotting, wet leaves into the bin.
