HammarBear - Garden Update 29 April 2020 - part 1

Because I've been back at work this week, I've been limited on time to post and work in the yard. So, for the time being, I'll have to limit it to 2 or 3 posts a week. But, for today, We'll cover what I did tonight. Yesterday, I brought home a car load of pallets and scrap wood from work, with the cargo area full, as well as my roof basket. My brother-in-law and I tore it all down to planks, pulled all the nails out and stacked them up. Today, after I got home from work, my Dad and I ripped 8 of the planks to 5 inches wide, and cut them to 36" in length. Then we ripped 4 pieces of 14" long 3" x 4" plank in half, and cut points on them.

We nailed them all together to make 2 3ft x 3ft x 5" raised garden beds. These will supplement the existing 2 garden plots. Likely, these will be home to Peppers, lettuce and Kale.

More to come.
