This update is a few months late, but better late than never, I guess. This was from my 3rd or 4th forging session. A while back, I reverted the suspension on my 2006 Subaru Forester from Coil overs to stock-style suspension. The springs I ordered were boxed wrong on the website, but I had exceeded the return window. I didn't find out they were the wrong springs until I had them on the car. The rear end sat an inch and a half low. Shortly after, I installed some King off road springs, and these went into my spare parts bin for a year. I decided to cut them up and use the metal to make knives. The two knives shown here were made from a half coil. The top one is Kody's throwing knife, and the bottom is a Tanto knive I started.
