Event Coverage - Dimondale Car Show - Part 2

The Dimondale car show was a few days before the Oldsmobile Homecoming. As there were many Classic Oldsmobile owners in town, many of them were present at the shows during the week.

I had never really paid attention to Oldsmobile, until I went to the R.E.Oldsmobile museum here in town. Since then, I realized that Lansing was built by Oldsmobile. The production facilities provided thousands of jobs to Lansing residents.

Oldsmobile was, if I'm not mistaken, the Luxury Performance division of General Motors.

.

Oldsmobile is also one of the oldest Auto Manufacturers in the World, being founded in 1897.

.

Perhaps the best known Oldsmobile car ever made is the Cutlass. There were several special edition Cutlass's, which I'll cover more in a few days, when I post the pictures from the Oldsmobile Homecoming.
