Event Coverage: Deutsche Marques at the GIlmore - Mercedes

The Deutsche-Marques show at Gilmore Car Museum this year had a great turnout. The show was limited to German-based brands. Mercedes, the oldest operating automaker in the world, is one of the brands most often associated with Germany.

The Brand has been through several brand-partnerships, but has maintained it's reputation of Quality and Luxury. The vehicle design has, somehow, retained a distinctly Mercedes shape. But, that seems to be a common thing among German Automakers.

When people think "Muscle Cars", they think of big, american rear-wheel drive, 2-door American cars. Well, Germany has been making their own Muscle Cars...The C63-AMG Black series is as close to a legit muscle car as it gets. 2 doors, rear wheel drive, big V8, big power, and enough torque to turn the rear tires to smoke and dust.

Another such car is the AMG GTS, which is currently my favorite car from the brand.
