Track Overview: Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix Circuit
Most road courses have very recognizable track maps that can be easily spotted from the air, or on GPS software. Circuits that are on city streets, however, can be a bit harder to trace. So, here is the track map for the Belle Isle circuit. (Photo credit - DetroitGP.com). The circuit consists of 2.35 miles of road with 13 corners. When I went to the races in 2015, I was watching from the Turn 1 Grandstands. This year, we were at turn 5. Much better seats.
