Event - Annual Mt. Hope Church Fathers Day Car Show

I learned a few things this week. First, The week leading up to Fathers Day is a week full of car shows. Second, going to a car show every night results in sore legs at the end of the week. And third, Sunscreen is important.

.

Sunday, I went out to the Fathers Day car show at Mt. Hope Church (Conveniently not on Mt. Hope road). I went last year, and was impressed by the turnout. I would have stayed longer, but it was hot, humid, and it was my second car event of the day, capping off a long week. I'll show you the photos I got from the other shows once I get a chance to edit them.

.

This Cobra race car is owned by a local enthusiast. This same guy also built the other Factory Five cars I've featured here.

.

Continuing with the Ford theme, here are several Mustangs that showed up early to the show.

.

The current-generation S550 Mustang is, without a doubt, my favorite generation of all of the Mustangs ever made. I've even been toying with the idea of someday owning one.

.

You've seen this car in at least 2 previous posts, as well in several of my Olympic Broil photo sets.

.

Thanks for reading, and please, stay tuned. I promise, I have a ton of content in the works.

In the meantime, follow me on Instagram. You'll find the link at the top of the page.
