1990's Legends at Cars and Coffee

One reason I love Cars and Coffee is that there's almost always a chance you'll see something cool. This time was no exception. There were a few cars of note today from the 1990's. This par of Japanese titans were some of them. The Acura NSX and the Mk.4 Supra.

.

This car has been at previous events, but still demands to be photographed.

.
This Supra, made famous in the first film in the Fast and Furious franchise, and known to be one of Japan's best sports cars.

.

The Mk4. Supra is one of those cars you don't see on the streets that often. I've certainly only seen them on the road on the way to or leaving a car event. And even then, it's rare.

.

Finally, this 1994 Dodge Viper. One of the first generation examples of one of Americas most Raw, powerful cars built in the last 30 years.

.

I almost added this one into the "Classic Mopar" post from yesterday, but this one won't be a classic until next year.

.

You might notice a lack of creature comforts in this car. No ABS, no Traction Control. no Stability control. You get Air-con, Power Steering and Power Brakes. That's it. No airbags, no radar-guided cruise control, no rain-sensing wipers, no navigation, etc. But do really need all of that?

.

This beast of a car is powered by a 400hp 8.0L V-10.

.

The first gen vipers (Phase SR 1) was built until 1995, and only came with a 6-speed manual transmission. That's how all sports cars should come. No automatic option.

Anyway, that'll do it for now. Check back for more soon.
