Video: Koenigsegg does it again!!

You might remember, a few wees ago, that I posted up a pair of videos of Koenigsegg and Bugatti going at it in a 0-400km/hr-0 race, with the Koenigsegg Agera RS hitting the mark at 37.28 seconds, doing 403km/h in 2535 meters.

Well, they've done it again. This time, on a closed road in Nevada. The car was exactly 4 seconds faster, and almost 300 meters less distance.

But they didn't stop there. If you have access to a long, straight, flat road, why not see what the car tops out. It did 284.55 mph one way. In order for it to be an official record, it has to be done both ways. So, they went back out, and did it the other direction...hitting 271.19 mph, making an average speed of 277.87 mph...the previous record is 267.86 mph, held by the Bugatti Veyron SuperSports. Just over 10 mph faster. INSANE.

Just goes to show that, when money is no object, you can go as fast as you want.
