Car Spotlight: 1966 Chevrolet impala Coupe

The Chevrolet Impala has become an extremely common car. My Dad is on his second one, though his have been the first generation of the front-wheel-driven versions. The Impala has seen 10 generations, its first starting off in 1958. This is a 4th-generation example.

.
The Impala has had options for 6 or 8 cylinder options for all but the current generation.

.

I love the lack of a B-pillar on the older cars. It makes for a really large field of vision out of the sides.

.

The vinyl bench seats are in great shape on this car. I'm guessing it's seen a full restoration. Vinyl seats don't really hold up well, and this car is nearly 50 years old.

.

The Olympic Broil cruise-in delivered several great cars this time. Stay tuned for more. In the meantime, thanks for reading. Remember to follow me on my social media, share my posts, and check back often for more content.
