Another shoot with my car.

I love my car. The saying goes "If you, when walking away from your car, don't look back at it more than 3 times, you've got the wrong car." And, it's true.

.

The Subaru Forester. No a particular interesting car. It's got a Subaru EJ253 2.5L Horizontally Opposing 4-cylinder engine making 173hp and 166 ft-lbs of torque at the crank, meaning it's not particularly fast, either.

.

It's not big, either. With a 100-inch wheelbase, and a curb weight of just over 3,000lbs would indicate a diminutive size.

.

The First and second generation Foresters share a platform, and many parts, with the Impreza. The Unibody construction and shared platform put this and the previous generation firmly into the "High-riding estate car" category, much like the Audi Allroad Quattro.

.

It's been a reliable car, though, as it's getting older, it's developing some issues, all of which are repairable.

.

I had a bit of a mishap in 2013, which explains the left rear corner of the bumper, and the non-standard tail-lamps from a 2008 Forester Sports.

.

I love my stickers. Each one has it's own little meaning. The top sticker, I bought in 2013, when we stopped off at Deals Gap resort along the Tail of the Dragon in Tennessee. The "IAMTHESPEEDHUNTER" sticker is in reference to the #IAMTHESPEEDHUNTER feature on Speedhunters, where they feature outside motor journalists on their site, which I aspire to do. the NoWo sticker, while looking cool, is from my first time at a European-specific car show. The FD sticker is from my 2013 trip to Road Atlanta. The LAE sticker is my own, which I should be selling pretty soon. And finally, the Scotty Cranmer sticker. I've mentioned Scotty before, as he currently runs my favorite Youtube channel.

.

That'll do it for today. Thanks for reading. Please, check back regularly for more, and follow me on my social media.
