Youtube Channel: Scotty Cranmer
|Most of you may not know that I love BMX. As a younger, and, honestly, fitter Phil, I rode my bike around the small village I lived in. There were about 10 of us that rode. While I never went hard at the jumps, I loved watching the guys get air and try tricks. My good friend Josh introduced me to BMX, and, oddly enough, the idea that import cars can be cool.|
Fast forward to 2 years ago. I was looking for videos of professional BMX riders, when I found a video of Scotty Cranmer. Cranmer is a multi-medal-winning X-Games athlete, and all-around good guy. Scott and his crew of fellow riders have frequent competitions, and from time to time, car videos, as Scott and his channel co-founder Alex "aka Big Boy", are pretty big fans of Nissan, and have had their cars in several videos.
Back in November of last year, Scott took a pretty big spill in Las Vegas around the time he was out there for a competition. The accident rendered him paralyzed from the neck down. In the last 11 months, he has made an astonishing recovery, with several videos in the last 2 months featuring Scott riding around in the Incline Club, his indoor skate park, as well as in the parking lot and on the BMX track behind SC Action Sports, the bike shop he co-owns with his father.
I know this isn't exactly a purely car channel, but I watch it every day.
Check it out.
