Shaheen Chevrolet Car Show - Part 1

I recently learned that Shaheen Chevrolet, a well-known local dealership here in Lansing, holds an annual car show, which seems to draw a crowd. I thought I'd head over and check it out. I was there between 11am and noon, so I'm sure the turnout was still low. One of the first cars I saw as I walked in was this COPO Camaro...this is a drag car...that you can buy from a dealership...

.

This is the LSX V8...and it is the factory engine...THIS IS ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT...crazy...

.

This mid-1970's Chevele SS was pretty cool. It's not a car I see often, for some reason.

.

This version of the Chevelle is far more common to see at shows.

.

The El Camino was an almost perfect example of a well-cared for example of one of the many strange cars sold here in the US.

.

This 1959 Chevrolet Task Force Apache 31 pickup was a really nice example. I don't see many of these, but I dont usually pay attention to trucks.

.

This super clean GMC C10 pickup was cool. The more I see these, the more I start to like old pickup trucks.

.

This 2004 Ford SVT Cobra was pretty cool. The color, Mystichrome, sounds like a weird, chrome-plated pokemon, is extremely rare.

.
