AutoRama Detroit 2017 - first impressions.

AutoRama was something I had always heard about. Every car magazine I read growing up had a feature about it every year. Living in Detroit, I saw signs for it, my friends would go, and tell me all about it, but I never had the chance to go. This year, I finally got to go.

I've been to COBO hall many times for the North American International Auto Show. Let me tell you. COBO seems Huge at NAIAS, because you can't see from one end to the other due to the way the exhibits are organized. AutoRama, however, makes far better use of the space.

As I walked into the main hall, What I saw can only be described as Jaw-dropping. There were thousands of cars in a room that looked somehow smaller than I thought. Yet the amount of walking required to see everything on the main level was close to double that of NAIAS.

Stay tuned for extensive coverage and car features from the show.
